When the Twin Towers fell

Where were you, when the twin towers fell?

I was at home thinking 'those poor, poor people';

I bet they were all going through hell.

What was that terrorist Osama Bin Laden thinking, anyway?

Did he really think America wouldn’t defend herself, one day?

America is here, and by God, we are here to stay.

We won’t let another terrorist do what that maniac did.

They all will do just like Osama; and stay hidden, or at least they will try.

You knew you screwed up, when you saw us standing there;

 With a lonely tear drop in our eye; you didn’t care.

All of them thought we would fail. So tell me;

Where were you when the towers fell?

I remember that day just like a bad dream;

That it made me so mad, I could just fucking scream.

All those people: men, women, and children;

They were all prayed for, before they reached their end.

Then we went to war, and blowed up the mountains

Of that foreign land; I hate no one, you must understand;

No one can change God's divine plan.

That is why I truly believe, we did not Fail.

Tell me; where were you when the Twin Towers fell.

Well hello; we are still here, a little poorer, sure;

But we are still close with our God.

He gave us all a choice: to serve him, and him, alone.

Everyone will know this, when he comes back,

And makes sure everything is gone.

The ones who fights with God, we

Will always remain strong…

Heart, faith, and love will be with us, all the day long.

Rest assured; God and his Angels,will see 

Everything that will come to pass;

WE will never fail.

          That's a Shame

Can someone tell me what kind of world we are living in, when we don't know if we even want to vote or not, or even which way we are going to vote, to begin with? Every Candidate will promise this and that, and spread all kinds of lies and deceit. The scary part is they believe their own lies.
 One says, 'oh I am going to take care of the poor, and raise the Taxes of the Rich.' Well, as a true American, I will say I'll believe it, when I see it. And the one in power wants to raise Gas prices to ten dollars a gallon; what kind of President do you call that; a very poor one, in my opinion. We may as well get ready to go back to horse and buggy, and if we do that, the only gas we have to worry about is what's coming out of the horse's backside; which, anyway you look at it; it is still better than paying ten dollars a gallon for the liquid gold they call gas. Or maybe, we need to devise a way to reform the steam engine, and bring it back; either way, it will be great to me.

I have heard it said by many, don't try to figure this government out, because it can't be done. Well, I am not trying to figure them out. I would just love to have some truthful answers for once in my life, but we all know it's not going to happen. You may ask: then why worry about it?

Have you looked around, lately, at everything that is going on? There are no good jobs available. They say the crime rate is down, but that's a lie. NO, NO, NO; TRY AGAIN! It's higher than it's ever been, and that's the truth, but they try to cover up the truth about it. OK, answer me one question: how can it be down, when there aren't any jobs, unless you go work at McDonalds with the teenagers, or maybe, if you like to get greasy, instead of flipping burgers, go work at an oil change place, where you only make mere pennies a week.

But, it's common knowledge, any parent will tell you, when you have children to feed and clothe and keep a roof over their head, and electricity, water, sanitation and sewer bills to keep up, and medical bills; and supply a vehicle as way to get places, and a phone as a way to keep in touch, that means you work somewhere; yes, you'll do what you have to do to make sure they are taken care of, every day.

I was watching a very popular news show on TV where whole families, yes. The kids and parents are living in cars. They have been known to eat out of garbage cans, just to feed their kids; and once in awhile, when funds from the state and out of people's pockets they'll rent a motel room for a week. Will the government do anything to help these people? What's being done? It falls more on the shoulders of churches and organizations like Salvation Army and Good Samaritans, or just kind people who care.

I must confess, something like that makes me even wonder why I should vote for someone who only thinks of one's self; going around with a 'to hell with the poor people of this Great Nation' attitude. I am a Native American; my people were here before any white man was.
 So my question is, why are they setting on their hands, and letting people starve to death; children and adults, alike? It is no different than it was in the 1800s when the great West was an unmapped territory and white men killed each other over gold.

This should not be the kind of lifestyle of today; this is 2012...the year of completion. Aren't all people, in the good ole U.S. of A., a part of this Nation? If so, why isn't anybody doing anything? Isn't that why we have a government in the first place?

We were almost a broke nation, at one time, and we only came out of it by the skin of our teeth. And our Medicare, and Medicaid is nowhere near what it should be anymore; and why is that you may ask? It is because of one man who is currently in power; did he even stop to think that what he was doing is going to hurt the people who need it the most? Of course not; because simply put, he thinks more of himself than anyone else.

Tell me one thing; Mr. President, where are all the Jobs you promised? I still don't see any coming to us, and that's a shame; but what's worse is no one in our Capitol's oval office cares one way or the other; that's 'the Shame'.
